We have an active church membership of about 100. All church members serve in the church in various ways. Practical areas in the running of the church are overseen by a team of deacons.
We have a team of elders who are the church leaders, serving and caring for the church principally though teaching from the Bible and prayer:
Stuart has been serving at TRC since 1999 and has been pastor since 2013. Before coming to TRC, he spent 15 years as a Mercedes-Benz technician. It was during those years that he became a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He has a passion to share the good news of Jesus with people. Stuart is married to Anna and they have five children.
Gareth has recently returned from Oak Hill College - where he was sent by TRC to train - to serve as our Assistant Pastor. His original ambition was to become a politician but after becoming a Christian at university he was called into gospel ministry. Gareth is married to Hannah and they have two children. He enjoys running with a local running club and has strong opinions about what qualifies as "decent" coffee.
David first came to TRC as a medical student. He met his wife, Jane, here. They spent 36 years as missionaries in South Africa, Gabon and Madagascar before returning to London in 2013. They have four children and 12 grandchildren. David's great desire as an elder is reflected in the Bible verse he and Jane took at their wedding at TRC: "O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His Name together" (Psalm 34v3).
Originally from Tanzania, George became a believer in Christ when he was a student. He is an accountant by profession. He is married to Emma who is from the Philippines. They have a son and a daughter. George is the church's accountant.
